This strain is known for producing dense, medium-sized fruiting bodies with caps that measure 3–6 cm in diameter. Caps start as convex with a rich caramel-brown center that fades toward lighter golden edges as they mature. Stems are slender to moderately thick, fibrous, and often display faint striations, standing 8–14 cm tall with a pale to golden coloration. Oak Ridge exhibits fast colonization on grain spawn and bulk substrates, performing well in a variety of cultivation environments. Fruiting tends to be prolific, with clusters of uniform mushrooms that often cover the substrate in thick flushes.
