Syzygy Liquid Culture Syringe 10ml The SyZyGy phenotype dates back to the 1970s and is named after psychonaut Terence McKenna’s surfing company. Over time, this strain was believed to be lost to the mycology community. Its revival came when Free Spore Ring Europe discovered a 12-year-old spore print with McKenna’s handwriting, allowing SyZyGy to be reintroduced. The strain produces medium to large mushrooms with caps that are convex to broadly convex, measuring 3–6 cm in diameter, and displaying a rich caramel-brown color that lightens toward the edges. Stems are sturdy, thick, and dense, often showing faint surface striations. SyZyGy is known for moderate to rapid colonization, consistent flushes, and prolific yields under proper conditions. Our liquid cultures arrive in high-quality 10ml laboratory-grade Luer-Lok syringes. Each order includes a sterile 1-inch, 16-gauge needle for microscopy slide dispensing.
