Hanoi Liquid Culture Syringe 10ml The Hanoi phenotype was first documented in 1907 by French mycologist N.T. Patouillard in the rural regions surrounding Hanoi, Vietnam. This variety develops medium to large caps, ranging from 4–6 cm in diameter. The caps start convex and mature to a broadly convex or nearly flat shape, with a warm golden-brown center that fades toward a pale yellow margin. Fruiting bodies often display slight waviness along the cap edges in later maturity. Stems are slender to moderately thick, typically 8–14 cm tall, with a fibrous texture and white coloration that may bruise blue when handled. Hanoi is known for moderate to fast colonization speed and produces consistent, even pinsets. Fruiting tends to occur in dense flushes, with good canopy formation under optimal conditions. Yields are generally high, with mature fruits often showing uniform size across the substrate. Our liquid cultures arrive in high-quality 10ml laboratory-grade Luer-Lok syringes. Each order includes a sterile 1-inch, 16-gauge needle for microscopy slide dispensing.
