Orissa India Liquid Culture Syringe 10ml The Orissa India phenotype of Psilocybe cubensis was originally collected in the Orissa region of India by mycologist John Allen. Known for producing some of the largest P. cubensis fruiting bodies ever recorded, this strain has earned a reputation for both size and reliability in microscopy research. For years, it was considered the largest cubensis variety available in the spore trade, a title that helped cement its popularity among collectors. Caps typically measure 4–10 cm in diameter, starting convex and maturing to broadly convex or nearly planar, with a golden to light caramel center that fades toward pale margins. Stems are thick, sturdy, and fibrous, often reaching 12–20 cm in height, supporting the heavy caps without collapsing. The partial veil is prominent and often leaves a thick, well-defined ring. Orissa India is a moderately fast colonizer, favoring warm, stable fruiting conditions. It produces flushes of large, meaty mushrooms with consistent yields, and is capable of delivering impressive canopies even in smaller grow spaces. Our liquid cultures arrive in high-quality 10 ml laboratory-grade Luer-Lok syringes. Each order includes a sterile 1-inch, 16-gauge needle for microscopy slide dispensing.
